What if I don’t make a hire?
Over 97% of our clients make a hire. A successful hire will depend on many factors and although we cannot always guarantee finding you your ideal candidate and making a placement, we provide an Advertising Service Guarantee meaning that we will re-advertise your job on all the job boards and social media for a further 30 days at no extra cost to you.
What happens if my new hire leaves?
We screen all candidates for you however the final hiring decision is always up to you, the client. For your peace of mind, our recruitment services come with a 90 day Employee Guarantee.
Are there any placement or other fees after I hire?
No. There is only a commencement fee and balance of fee upon placement. There are no additional fees at any other stage in the recruitment process, unless you request we upgrade your service, request an advertising change that incurs additional advertising costs, or request psychometric testing of your preferred candidate.
I am in remote part of Australia – can you service my needs?
Yes – we recruit nationally with experienced Recruitment Consultants who have industry sector and regional expertise. We will match your job with the most suitable Consultant.
Can we hire multiple candidates?
Yes. You can hire as many candidates from the one job or service. Additional fees will be incurred for 2nd and subsequent candidates placed.
Can I upgrade my service after the process has commenced?
Yes. If after the service has begun you would like to modify or add extra services, you can do this at any time. Just call us on 1300 447 330 and we will ensure the best service to match your needs.
Do you complete interviews and reference checks?
Yes. We undertake telephone or video based interviews and up to 2 reference checks are undertaken on your preferred candidate for all recruitment services.
How good are your reference checks?
1300Hired reference checks have been refined over 18 years and thousands of checks. We use quantitative and qualitative checks combined with behavioural based questions. We recommend and undertake 2 reference checks to provide a level of cross checking between referees.
Do you provide a payroll or contract management service?
Yes, if you elect to recruit for a temporary or contract based role, our sister company (Workscan) provides contract management and payrolling services. We manage and administer all PAYG taxes, state payroll taxes, superannuation, workers compensation, professional indemnity and public liability insurances, as well as year end payment summaries for contractors.
How many candidates should I expect to receive?
We can never guarantee the volume or quality of the applications as this will depend on the position, the type of person and skills required, the location of the position and the supply of candidates. Matters such as salary package and other job related factors also influence response rates. Our expertise consulting and advising as well as writing and producing an effective campaign will ensure your vacancy is optimised and exposed to the widest audiences.
